Happy Friday My Mind’s Eye readers! This is Tonya with you today. Today I have a layout to share with you to show that our new travel line doesn’t have to just be used for our travel theme layouts or cards.
There are a lot of great papers that can easily be used for just about any occasion. This layout is 8.5 x 11”.
Supplies: Hello World- Adventure Journal Cards, Travel Stickers, Beauty Enamel Shapes, All Aboard Veneer, Beauty Rub Ons, 6x6 Decorative Paper Pad Cardstock- Canvas (Loveable), Glimmer (Tropical Surf), Classic (Navy)
I started with a grid design this, all based upon some of the new cardstock. The coral color is from the canvas collection and the aqua is from the glimmer collection (I wish you could see this a better, it has the prettiest shimmer to it!). Most of these patterned paper squares are cut from the cards in the journal card pack as I liked the smaller scale of the prints a little better.
The title was cut from our Navy Classic cardstock using the Silhouette. Those little embellishes are rub ons. I popped the speech bubble and the little arrows flanking the photo up with some foam tape to add some dimension. Oh! and do you spy the new wood veneer? I really like how they are all engraved with added dimension.
In the above photo you can see the shimmer in that aqua Glimmer cardstock. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that stuff. Actually in this photo you can see three of the new different types of cardstock, the Glimmer (aqua), Canvas (coral), and Classic (Navy).
