Hello everyone! This is Shelly with some Project Life inspiration for you today. This time I am playing with the new Hello World Collection but with a little twist. This pretty collection isn’t just for travel and far off adventures. I was inspired to document our Easter celebration with it!
Supplies: Hello World: “Travel” My Travels Paper, “Adventure” Journal Cards, “Travel” Stickers, “All Aboard” Wood Veneer; On Trend “Awesome” Stickers; Other: Becky Higgins Design G page protectors, typewriter, date stamp, ink.
These colors just screamed spring and Easter in my ear. I just had to listen.
It really started when I saw this “Let’s Go” journal card. That pretty chevron pattern with those creamy colors had me at hello. It was the perfect little card for all of our “Egg Adventures.”
I trimmed down the My Travels stripped pattern paper down to 6x4 and ran it through my typewriter at an angle. I used the Travel Stickers to add my title over the tags that were already on the pattern paper; Simple and easy, just how I like it.
I continued the simple theme for the other side of my layout too with plenty of pictures and two of the journal cards to add our story.
I used my typewriter for additional journaling. As you can see, I need a little practice with that machine, but I like that it is just a little wonky. I topped the “Hello” card off with a little wood veneer heart right over my page protector to add that little extra something.
I am very happy how this layout turned out. Just because we don’t go on huge adventures on far off travels, doesn’t mean I can’t use this collection for the adventures we have in our own backyard. The colors are so versatile. I can really see myself using this collection again and again for more than a few other memories too. Have you been creating with the “Hello World” collection for those memories other than your travels? I would love to see them! I hope you link us up and share.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!
