Good Morning!
It’s Alexes here again! Yesterday I shared a 9x9 layout of my beautiful baby girl but today I want to share a really fun and adventurous layout with you all!
Some of you might know that my family and I just made a big move to the great state of Alaska, and over the past year we’ve done a lot of exploring! This page features some memories of our trip to visit Portage Bay, an absolutely breath taking glacier!
I’ve been wanting to experiment with oversized type for a while now and I thought this would be a great way to try it out! I used my silhouette to cut out the title and I used my Selphy to print out the 3x4 photos that run alongside it.
Then I just started adding embellishments after embellishment! I love these ahhmazing wood veneer, they’re awesome because they’re much thicker than normal which give layouts some great dimension AND they’re adhesive!! Win, win if you ask me! Adding some brads in between added some additional color to the page.
Then I used a bunch of these label stickers to add another strip of embellishments below the title.
After adding a few more stickers, some enamel hearts, and one of those adorable arrows, I felt like the page had evened out and was finished in the embellishment area
I toyed around with idea of adding a thin line of black ink around the edges of the cardstock but I thought that might cut off the feel of the page and I loved the freeness of it!
What do you guys think? Should I have added the line around the edges or do you like it how it is?
Thanks soo much for stopping by, I hope you’re all having an awesome Wednesday!
