Happy New Year, MME friends!! Lea here today with a fun & easy project to share with you! We had a New Year's Eve gathering at our house this week, and I wanted to have something cute to hang up with my Christmas decorations!
So I created this fun "Happy New Year" banner & a string of matching garland. My Mind's Eye helps make things easy by having these awesome metallic & glittered letters all ready to create something with!!
Supplies: Market Street "Nob Hill" Sparkle 12x12 paper, Just Sayin' "Garden Party"12x12 paper, Necessities "Metallic" foil monogram alphas, & Necessities "Black & Grey" glitter monogram alphas
To create the banner, I just pulled out all the letters I needed & stitched it together using my sewing machine & gold thread. Easy peasy!
For the garland, I punched matching circles from the Market Street "Nob Hill" Sparkle paper, & the Just Sayin' "Garden Party" paper. After punching all the circles, I stitched them together with my sewing machine & gold thread.
While I created these for New Year's, they could easily be created for birthdays, Valentine's Day, bridal or baby showers....pretty much any type of celebration!
