Supplies: Jubilee - Wildberry: Diamonds patterned paper, 6x6 paper pad (blue, red, and stripe), transparent frames, mixed bag, decorative brads, chipboard, sticky notes, journal card; Misc: white and black cardstock, black ink and pen, foam tape.
Today I am "throwing it back" 14 years to the time when my 16 year old was an adorable little 2 year old toddler. His FAVORITE thing to wear every day was his special helicopter hat that his Grammy mailed to him. I love his sweet grin, round cheeks, and the fact that he is only wearing one Blues Clues shoe!!
Even though the Jubilee Wildberry collection is very feminine with floral patterns and a lot of pink - I was able to find the perfect elements to coordinate with the colors of the photo. I used a piece of the diamonds paper as the foundation for my page and cut around the blue diamond edge.
I layered 3 6x6 papers with a strip of the green paper. I tucked a journaling card under the photo and layered the black transparency title "Always Wear a Smile" over it.
To the left of the photo, I layered the "hey" white cutout, from the journaling cards package, with the "2" and "adorable" pieces. I added foam tape under the "life is an adventure" and blue labels and inserted brads. I finished the page off with the "Friday" sticky note, "lovin' it" chipboard, and banners from the mixed bag.
I always enjoy scrapbooking photos from the past: reminiscing about cherish memories and marveling at how much family members have changed.
