Hi everyone, Laurel here. I have been trying to increase my stash of clean and simple cards that are a little bit more ‘postal friendly’ than what I usually make. Believe me, it is harder for me to make simple ones than it is the much layered, stitched and die cut type of cards. With clean and simple I have a hard time stopping!
Supplies:Market Street Nob Hill: 6 X 6 pad, enamel dots, decorative buttons;Necessities Metallics Stripe Foiled vellum; Other supplies: Acrylic Stamps: Precious Remembrance
The 3 X 4 cards that come in the collection made it a bit easier for me today. I let them do all the work and I just added some stamps and a little bit of pattern paper and embellishments here and there.
Watercolors are very trendy right now so I love this journal card. So simple and yet, so on trend. All as I had to do was add the stamped sentiment.
I am happy with how these turned out and I am sure will be even more so when I go to mail them!
What about you? Are you a clean and simple card maker or are you like me and craft with the mantra ‘the more the merrier’?
Laurel
