Hi everyone, Laurel here with some fun summer cards. I will be honest, as a teacher there are some parts of summer I like (wink!) but I am not a fan of the summer heat, I much prefer warm spring days.
However, everything else about summer is so fun, especially hanging out at a lake. That is what I thought about when I decided to create some shaped cards with the Necessities Blues collection.

First off the blue stripe make me think of a men’s swimsuit so I put my Cricut to work and created this fun summer card. The front is not completely attached to the back of the shorts so I can tuck in some sort of gift card or money inside them!
Next up is this purse. Navy blue polka dots, I would love a summer bag like this one! Again, another gift card holder, perfect for a girl’s summer getaway – spa retreat....
Finally, love the small polka dots and thought that it would make a fun bathing suit. I paired the Necessities up with the Market Street collection to create this encouragement card. The flower button was actually a pin but I pulled off the resin flower to use it as an embellishment on the swimsuit.
