Hello everyone! This is Shelly with some Project LifeⓇ inspiration. I am sharing another average week in the life using my personal favorite, the Now & Then “Izzy” Collection.
Supplies: Now & Then-Izzy: 6x6 Designer Paper Pad, “Boys” Label Stickers, “Good Times” 3x4 Cards; Other: date stamp, black ink, pen, corner rounder, Becky Higgins Design A Page Protectors.
I know I have said it before, but I LOVE that My Minds’ Eye has included these awesome 3x4 cards with their new collections. I kept things fairly simple this time around.
I did have a little fun playing with my title card. I used the 6x6 designer paper pad to customize my title and mimic the journaling card that I used on the second half of my spread with the navy/white dots and date label.
I wanted to label my snowy picture with yet another “No School Day,” which happened to be Day 9 of those for us. A trimmed 3x4 card was the perfect filler in the open space of my picture.
The second half of my spread was kept even simpler. I just really like how those cards are great on their own. They are perfect to add my story and slip right into the pockets.
As you can see, the big event of this week was the addition of some new critters in our household. I trimmed down a 3x4 piece of yellow strip paper from the 6x6 designer paper pad to back my receipt. This also brought that same yellow over from my title card. I am always a fan of repeating a look on my layouts. It just seems to bring the two sides together for me.
And there you have another week in the life documented with the ease of pocket pages and MME’s fabulous 3x4 cards. Do you have a favorite pack of the 3x4 cards? I definitely have to say that the “Izzy” Collection with the bold navy, green, yellow, and orange has my heart right now. Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day!
