Good morning! Tonya here today to share with you a couple of projects that feature….STICKY NOTES!!!!! I thought it was super cool when I saw that My Mind's Eye was including this new product with some of their most recent lines (they are included in both of the Now and Then lines: Mildred and Milo). You receive quite a few in a pack which means you can use them for so many things. Use them as you would a normal sticky note, these would just be more fun. They can also be used as embellishments on your projects, or as a mask for misting and inking over.
For my projects today I chose to use them as embellishments for my cards. First up is the card that I made using the Milo collection. I wanted to incorporate all of the "days of the week" sticky notes onto the front of my card.
Supplies: Now and Then-Milo: 6x6 Decorative Paper Pad, "This Week" Sticky Notes, "Inspired" Enamel Dots, Decorative Tape, "Documented" Alpha/Tiny Words, "Documented" 12x12 Chipboard
For my second card I switched over and used the Now and Then Mildred collection. For this one I chose to use the pennant shaped sticky notes to make a banner.
Supplies: Now and Then-Mildred: 6x6 Decorative Paper Pad, "Hello" Sticky Notes, "Today" 3x4 pack, "Girls" Brads, "Girls" Label Stickers, "With You" Enamel Dots, "Oh Happy Day" Alpha/Tiny Words, "Oh Happy Day" 12x12 Chipboard
Next time you feel the need to branch out and use a new embellishment think about sticky notes…they are the perfect accessory to all of your projects!
