Happy Thursday , everyone!
Today we wanted to quickly share some CHA projects from the talented Amber Packer. The first layout she made features Now and Then Mildred and the second features Now and Then Milo.
We know you will love them just as much as we do. Enjoy!

Hello everyone! Valerie here today...and I'm sharing some creative card ideas with you.
For the background of this card (made using the Lost and Found Record It- Heirloom collection) , I used torn strips of a page from an old book and then placed a pretty journal card on top. I used a couple heart stickers from Cupid’s Arrow and a couple more from Lost & Found as embellishments then added a couple rows of glittery enamel dots. So pretty!
What a perfect messy misted background this one has! I sprayed my mask with various shades of pink and then “stamped” it onto my card.
A piece of wide lace trim was adhered with a line of hot glue and then my sentiment (from Cut & Paste Adorbs stamp set) was added on top. Next I sewed on a row of chipboard banners—one from Chalk Studio and the other two from the Cut & Paste collection—then added a brad and button.
I love stamping with chalk ink on kraft paper. It’s what I did here with a sentiment stamp from the Find Your Wings & Fly stamp set and an arrow from the Cut & Paste Flair set. That chevron paper is my favorite.
One of my favorite techniques is to combine strips of decorative tape to create backgrounds. I used the decorative tape from the Lost & Found Record It collection and topped it with bits from the ephemera packs and a couple of word stickers.
That's all for today. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Good morning everyone! Stephanie here. Today I'm going to share the mini that I made for the MME booth at CHA!
I had so much fun playing around with the new “Record It” All Things Chalk collection! I love the black and white colors! They are so easy to dress up using fun photos and embellishments.
For my mini album I chose the Heirloom Sn@p album from Lost and Found Record It . I decided to use black and white photos to coordinate with the collection.
I added pops of gold throughout my book for visual interest and to help off-set the black and white combo. I started by spray painting the chipboard inserts that are included with the album with gold spray paint. I then used these as canvases for my photos and paper layers.
To add a fun “peek-a-boo” element in my album, I used photos of various sizes to allow the reader to see through to the next page. I added a few doilies, sequins and vellum here and there just to make it a little prettier! Such a fun collection!!

Hi everyone!
This is Karen and I am back with another Mix and Match for February. I have decided to continue my attempts at telling the longer stories and combining the two 6x12s to create something that's interesting to me.
For this month, I decided to take the journaling from this blog post on my core desired feelings.
Something I want to remember all throughout 2014 and hence a great layout subject. Like last month, the journaling took up an entire page, and here's what I ended up with:
This page brings together several lines that I love: I cut out the hearts from the Cupid's Arrow - Chevron paper and I also used the back of the Love You Foiled paper from the same line.
I added some bright pink from Find Your Wings and Fly's Up and Away Big Top and the bright green of Krafty Floral's back side from the same line. The final paper comes from Kate&Co's Cambridge Court "Striking" paper. Who knew you could mix all those colors and end up with something lovely?
I also added little tidbits here and there, including these chipboard arrows I love and adore.
Since this page is about me and how I want to feel, I decided these photos of me with my kids would be perfect since I look so happy in them. I am feeling how I want to feel for all of 2014. I added some word stickers on the photos. Word stickers make me happy, too.
On the left side, I only put a few little embellishments since it's so text heavy and there isn't a lot of room. The colors and shapes of these allow the left page to tie in with the right page, making the layout come together. I also wanted a little more green on this side so I decided to add a strip of tape, simple, easy, and exactly what I wanted.
A full frame of tape brought the whole thing together and I was done. In case you're wondering how this goes inside a page protector, I can show you that the two sides fit together really nicely to create a 12x12:
So I can just slip it into a normal 12x12 protector. If the looseness will bother you, you can also tape them together in the back, but I like it better this way.
So here you go, that's my Mix and Match for February. I look forward to seeing you in March!

Please help us welcome the incredibly talented Lea Lawson to the team!
Here's a little bit about Lea...and some brand new MME cards to inspire us!
Hi there! My name is Lea Lawson & I just relocated with my husband to the 4th coldest city in the entire United States- Fargo, ND. And although we left my very favorite place on this earth (Missoula, MT), I am excited about the adventure we have ahead of us, & look forward to going back to visit my hometown every single year….at least once. Probably more than that…;)
Josh (my husband) & I are going on our 12th year of marriage and we have two of the cutest dogs in the world; a yorkie named Bailey & a cocker spaniel named Sadie. I graduated from photography school in 2009, & have been building my business ever since!
My main focus is on engagements & weddings, and it really is a perfect fit for me. It combines my love of beautiful things, serving people, capturing details & emotion, and watching love grow. I am most myself from behind the lens at a wedding.
The other side of my life is crafting…both paper & digital. I use paper & traditional scrapbooking product to create cards, gift wrap, mini albums, & other items aside from creating layouts. I have started dabbling in digital layouts, & I hope to jump into doing monthly Project Life digitally this year!
I live a very creative life that I just really love…and I am so thankful for every single day. In addition to being a new project designer for My Mind's Eye, I am also the creative team coordinator/project designer for Glitz Design, & card designer for WPlus9 stamps. Thanks for getting to know me a little bit...I'm looking forward to this new adventure with MME!
Lea- we are all so very excited that you are joining the MME family.
Thank you for all of the inspiration to come!
Stephanie

Hello everyone! This is Shelly with some Project Life inspiration. Today I am featuring an average week in the life using the bold Cut & Paste Collection.
Supplies: Cut & Paste – Adorbs: “Story” Cards Paper, “Loved” 4x6 Journal Card, “Story” 4x6 Journal Card, 6x6 Designer Paper Pad, Enamel Dots, Designer Buttons, Decorative Tapes, Label Stickers; Cut & Paste – Charm: “Sweet” Tiny Word Stickers, “Bliss” Decorative Stickers; Other: Becky Higgins Design A Page Protectors, date stamp, black ink, pen, string, corner rounder
This week I was really inspired to use the “Tell me a Story” Journaling Card from the Adorbs Cut & Paste Collection. I have been itching to use it from the first time I saw it, but it just never seemed to work for my week.
I know there wasn’t much pink in my pictures, but that just didn’t matter to me. I absolutely love the pink and navy combo that Adorbs brings to the table. The space on the card was perfect for a brief overview of our week’s adventures.
To create that cute little tag over the picture of my son playing, I pulled out the 6x6 paper pad and my tag punch. The punch was a perfect fit for the journaling cards in mini form.
For the right side, I filled in an open 4x6 using the “Loved” 4x6 Journal Card. Those angled stripes of color just put a smile on my face.
I embellished a little with some of my favorite tiny word stickers, label, decorative tape, and a button to jazz up that heart card.
That wraps up another edition of Project Life My Mind’s Eye style. I am really excited to get my hands on the brand new collections! With the addition of so many fun 4x6 and 3x4 journaling cards, I am so ready to start filling up more of those pockets of memories. If you haven’t checked them out, look HERE on the product page! Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!
