It's truly the most wonderful time of year. The decorations, the food, everyone is nicer (as long as you're not shopping...giggle), the beautiful snow-scenes and spirits feeling lifted, it's absolutely the most wonderful time.
While we look forward to it every single year, we as mommies know, there's a LOT to do. While it can take a little more time, I love to create my own gift wrap for smaller gifts. I love to give gift cards and money (college students, teachers, co-workers, neighbors) and so I am always trying to come up with beautiful ways to make them know that while it's a gift card/money, there was a LOT of thought involved in the gift.
The next two share another idea we use for the teachers/staff. My hubby gives all of the employees a gift card and we want the wrap to be unique and special because they ALL are so special to us. Here are just a couple that we will be giving this year.
And last ,but certainly not least, a gift bag idea. I love using my Cameo to create a background that could be layered with all the many elements in either the Vintage Christmas line or Mistletoe Magic lines.
Supplies: Vintage Christmas Paper Kit and MME Mistletoe Magic Paper Kit, chipboard elements, 12 x 12 cardstock stickers, decorative buttons, layered stickers; MISC: gift bag from stash, toilet paper rolls, trim from stash, Melissa Frances tinsel, jingle bells, twine, machine stitching, Cameo, glittered paper, Martha Stewart glitter, spray adhesive, decade stamp, jenni bowlin ink, berries from Michael's, Martha Stewart heart punch
Wishing you a very happy "wrapping" season this year!
