Fall Favorites with Tamara

Hello and Happy Friday! This is Tamara.

My absolutely favorite season has always been fall.  Maybe it's because my birthday happens to be in October, or perhaps it is because I love everything pumpkin, the crisp cool air, the colorful leaves, sweater weather, warm soups, need I go on?

Supplies: Happy Haunting: Spooky patterned paper, Skull patterned paper, Moroccan patterned paper, Thirty-First patterned paper, stickers, layered stickers; Chalk Studio: 6x6 pad, Label sticker, epoxy letter stickers; Misc.: Black thread, ink, and pen.

I love so many things about autumn, so I thought it would be fun to create a layout highlighting "My Fall Favorites". I even had this fun iPhone photo from my birthday lunch at the Thanksgiving Point "Harvest" restaurant (doesn't the name even sound like Fall?).

I used the fabulous new "Happy Haunting" collection - who says that it is just for Halloween? The orange glittered papers are so festive!

Who would have guessed that the black background paper had a huge "31" in the bottom right corner? I cut the "A" card for my title from the "Spooky/Scary" paper (perfect for an instant Halloween banner).  I glittered it and black Lush chipboard letters for my title and finished it off "Chalk Studio" epoxy letters .

I cut a strip of the Orange Damask paper, taking care to cut around the skulls. I cut the brown 6x6 paper from Chalk studio in half and hid the seam with a black label sticker. I replaced the "Happy Halloween" banner on the circle layered sticker with my own banner of "Thanksgiving Point".

I had so much fun creating a list of all the wonderful things I LOVE about Fall. I used leftover chipboard scraps to "pop" the "My Fall Favorites" title off the page.

I am so excited that it is finally October.  Hope you enjoy everything wonderful about Autumn!
