TGIF everyone! Today I want to talk about how to use a fun patterned paper as a jumping off point for a layout.
I was immediately drawn to the large checkmark pattern of the "Be"
Live paper from the Cut & Past Adorbs collection. I decided to cut a
section out of that paper to begin my page design for this next layout.
Supplies: Cut and Paste
Hello” Greet Paper
“Special” Striking Paper
“Be” Live Paper
“Loved” Devoted Paper
“Adorbs” 6x6 Paper Pad
“Special” 2x6 Journal Card
“Special” 4x6 Journal Card
“Special” Tiny Word Stickers
Story” Enamel Shapes
“Hello” Decorative Brads
“Be” Chipboard Stickers
“Be” Label Stickers
After I cut out the checkmark, I held it up to several of the other
papers to decide which one to adhere it to. I chose to use the
"Special" Striking paper with the gradated green and blue. I especially
like the way the green shows above the checkmark
and then fades to blue underneath the checkmark. I trimmed the paper to a
smaller square, matted it with white cardstock, and then adhered it to a
12x12 sheet of "Hello" Greet paper.
Thanks for taking a look!
