Please join us in welcoming Laurie LaRiviere to the MME family for the month of June! We love Laurie and her fabulous projects which she often shares with us via our FB page.
We love what Laurie came up with and we just know you will too. Enjoy!
My name is Laurie LaRiviere and I am very excited to be here! I have been married to Fred for 17 years, have three children, Ben age 15, Analise age 13, and Zachary age 5. I have been scrapbooking and card making for about 14 years. I discovered cards when I was invited to a Stampin' Up party 14 years ago. I had no idea you could make your own greeting cards with stamps. I just went to the party to have a girls night out! By the end of the night, I had made two cards, and was in love with every stamp set in the catalog. I bought a few sets and I have been making cards ever since. I discovered scrapbooking about a month after when I went to Michael's to get some paper for my cards and decided to try making layout since I love to take photos. I am currently serving on two design teams, Let's Get Sketchy and About A Girl. I have had several cards published in The Stamper's Sampler and a few mixed media projects published in Somerset Studio. Thank you to My Mind's Eye for having me!
Q: What did you have the most fun working with?
A:I had the most fun working with Kate and Co. Oxford Lane. I love how it works for both boys and girls and the mix of blues, greens and yellows all work so well together.
Q:What is your favorite MME line of all time and why?
A:My fave MME line of all time would be The Sweetest Thing Tangerine. I love the soft sherbert colors mixed with brights.

Laurie says:I used my Cricut to cut out all the hearts on this layout. I first cut out hearts in white paper to match the background and then used several of the pattern papers on top. I adhered them with foam tape for dimension. I really enjoyed embellishing every heart with the buttons, brads, and tapes.

Laurie says:I really enjoyed working with this line, I loved the colors and it was perfect for these photos of our neighbor kitty who seems to be at our house more than her own! We love her visits and I love to take photos of her, she's very sweet. I love the grid design on this one, I like how it showcases the photos and it was fun to embellish each little box.
