Hello everyone. It’s
Ronda here today to share with you three different ways to use
enamel dots on three different tags. Enamel dots are one of my favorite
embellishments from My Mind’s Eye. They are so easy to add to any
project –scrapbook page, art journal, card, or tag.
Let’s take a look at how I used those colorful little dots on these
tags.
Supplies:
Collectable-Memorable:
6x6 Pad,
Decorative Tape, “Note”
Journal Card; “Perfect”
Journal Card,
“Journey” Decorative Buttons,
“I’m With” Title, Enamel Dots;
Misc: Manila Tag, Ranger Distress Inks & Distress Paints, TCW Stencil, Baker’s Twine, Clearly For Art Modeling Film,
6 x 6 pads are so easy to use on tags. I love the smaller patterns on these papers. On this tag I used the Collectable Memorable Pad on the background of my tag. I added a plastic flower with a decorative button in the center. I cut two leaves out of the green patterned paper as accents.
I added the “I’m with” title card, the “Note” journal card, and the “Perfect” Journal Card to my card by cutting out certain elements and curling them for some dimension. Lastly I added the enamel dots in a row for that final accent. I added a large dot to the center and worked my way out on each side with smaller dots. It’s an easy way to create a perfect accent on your piece.
Supplies: My Girl: 6x6 Pad, Felt Stickers, Enamel Dots, Decorative Brads, Misc: Manila Tag, Golden Gesso, TCW Stencil, Baker’s Twine, Black Pen, Liquitex acrylic paint, Maya Mist
This artistic tag was so much fun to create. I started with a layer of gesso and spray ink to create the background. Using a stencil I cut out the pie chart shape from the 6x6 patterned paper pad. I like popping up sections of the pie chart to create some dimension.
To accent those pie chart pieces and give them even more dimension, I added enamel dots using the same color found in the patterned paper. They really draw your eye into the pie chart. Lastly I journaled love thoughts all across the background giving it that final touch

This adorable tag took minutes to create. Although simplistic in nature it packs a punch thanks to those adorable and colorful dots. I started by creating a background using some paints & a stencil. Next I cut out the cloud shapes from the leftover perfect journaling card. I inked the edges and popped one up with dimensional adhesive.
Next I added showers of enamel dots to create my
rain. Enamel dots are so easy to adhere in “shapes.” Try a letter,
make a flower, or even rain drops. Lastly I added the quote in journal
strips around the page. This tag could accompany
a gift for a friend or go straight onto a layout.
Supplies: Leftover Enamel Dots!
This layout was created using those leftover enamel dots. You know the ones & twos left behind but you aren’t sure how you are going to use them for they aren’t quite enough to accent your page. Gather them all up and put them together in one layout. Here these enamel dots accent along with spray inks the sky line as if they are a colorful fireworks display.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope to see many colorful enamel dots adorning your creations!
