Happy Valentine's Day! This is Tamara joining you on this love-filled day. I hope that if you celebrate you are enjoying it with the friends and family that are so close to your heart.
Today I would like to share a layout with you that captures the sweet "brotherly love" that my two sons share.
Supplies:All is Bright: Collage patterned paper, Linen patterned paper, Ephemera
Frames patterned paper, stickers, chipboard, brads, and accessories pad;
Blue and Red Lush chipboard letters; Misc: Red thread, black ink and
pen.
I stepped a little out of the "traditional Valentine's Day box" and used a lot of blue, cream, and white on my page.
It also gives the page a more masculine feel, since Valentine layouts tend to be very feminine, pink and covered with hearts.
I used the "All is Bright" Christmas collection - who knew it would be perfect for a different holiday?!I think it is fun to scrapbook photos from years past. This picture was taken in 2007, but I pulled it off my computer and scrapbooked it as a Valentine layout.
I saw the hexagon stickers and knew that I HAD to use them on my page. I LOVE the fabulous and timeless MME Lush Chipboard letter stickers. I have a bunch in my stash and they seem to magically work with every paper line. I really like the velvet texture of the blue letters too.
I
hand cut the blue chevron paper and layered it with the red chevron
chipboard border. I then layered and clustered the journaling spot with
chipboard labels and circle elements.
