She created MME projects for ONE HUNDRED DAYS! She shared layouts, cards, altered items...you name it.
I contacted Suzann and asked her to share a little bit about herself and where the concept of 100 Days of MME came from. Here is what she said.
It all began early in 2005. I was looking for a new hobby and scrapbooking caught my attention because playing with paper and glue in 3rd grade was great fun, so this had to be even better.
As the hobby began to take over my dining room, living room and guest bedroom, I discovered the amazing world of internet scrapbook communities, kit clubs, message boards, galleries, online shopping, and wonderful women who would become IRL friends. I also discovered My Mind's Eye!
Stephanie asked how my 100 Days of MME on my blog got started. That is actually a long story about a longer journey. I’ll try to make it short.
On February 15, 2010 my husband suffered a devastating stroke. (This was actually 5 days after being featured for the first time on the MME Blog). As the realities of this life changing situation set in, any desire to scrap slowly disappeared. I really didn’t think I would ever scrap again and did a major purge of my scrapping goodies (it all fits in one room now!), but I just couldn’t get rid of any MME.After 1 ½ years of no scrapping, my friend Lucy Chesna urged me to return to her DT at My Sketch World. I accepted but was struggling to find my mojo.
One day, as I sat in my scrap room, my eyes fell on the large box overflowing with beautiful MME (I had 39 POUNDS OF MME!) and I really wanted to play with all that pretty paper. That thought process just rapidly snowballed into wanting to challenge myself to use only MME for 100 days and post it every day on my blog. I truly amazed myself by meeting my goal and not missing a single day. My 100th day was August 8th, but I continue to post almost every day on my blog and MME is usually my paper of choice!
