Good morning everyone! Danni here to share one of my favorite things to create when we get ready to celebrate a party at the house....goodie bags and goodie straws. I don't like to purchase the themey ones because the kids seem to just crumple them up quickly or leave them behind, but every time I create their own personal little goodie bags filled with fun treat they get really excited.
For today's
post, I created tags for goodie straws and some goodie bags to place
some fun little "finds" in. I try to buy my "goodie bags" on clearance
when I see sales at Target and Dept. Stores, because they are so fun to
"pretty up" with MME papers and embellies later.
First, I cut the ribbons from the bags. They had cute pink ribbons that would be fine for my daughter's parties with friends,
but I decided twine and MME supplies would make them a whole lot cuter
for their get together, more girly, feminine and just plain fun.
Then,
I created tags for each one of the hard plastic straws. I like to
create little tags because they look so cute on the straws and you could
easily dress up a place setting with just a tag.
As you can see,
in no time at all (using MME supplies I had on hand) I had a set of
straws and goodie bags ready for my daughter's next little get
together. It's always better to drink Strawberry Fizzies out of a
fancy straw! ;)
