With only two dominate colors in my pictures, I was able to play with all the colors and patterns that come in this fun collection.
I
really wanted my title to be as playful and dynamic as the pictures. I
started out with the word “SPLASH” mixing up the different patterns and
colors from the 6x6 pad. Then, I
pulled out two different blue sheets and free hand cut water splashes
from each sheet.
There was no science behind it; I just went to town cutting different sizes and shapes from each of the papers. After moving them around the title, I grabbed adhesive and pop dots and layered them to give my title the perfect touch of energy it needed.
With
the right side of the page looking very “heavy”, I added my journaling
to the bottom left and used the brad and banner to give my journaling
box a little more weight.
After typing up the journaling, I wanted to play off my words with the title by adding in “1-2-3” and give a little more weight to the left side.
I
gave those numbers a perfect home on top of the chipboard elements’
banners. I finished them off with a little stitching and a couple of
brads.
