Happy Friday, MME fans! I hope your week has been beautiful and blessed and that you are ready for the weekend!
Today it's time for another Pinspiration post! And if you don't follow us on Pinterest you can find our boards HERE. I add new projects daily, so make sure to check in often!
Here's what Tina and Tamara came up with this month.
Original projects by: Patricia Roebuck
Lift designer: Tina Walker
Tina says: I thought that Patricia's use of Indie Chic was fantastic... and her design style is truly amazing. Instead of using one of her projects for my lift, I lifted two.
Supplies:The Sweetest Thing-Tangerine:'Happy' title,'Sunshine' title,tiny word stickers,wood&chip buttons,decorative brads,decorative tape;Misc:American Crafts alphas,adhesives,sewing machine and thread
The first lift is from Patricia's card, titled 'Make a Wish'. I really loved the timeless design that is so versatile and easy on the eye. I used this design as the basis for my layout.
Using our 6x6 pads, I layered several pieces across the left side of my page and stitched them in place.
I added several coordinating chipboard banners and a die cut to the top of the page, and folded strips of decorative tape in half and stitched to the bottom of my page.
In place of her small metal flower and 'Make a Wish' sentiment, I layered a large die cut under a flower brad and adhered several word banners to the side.
The second project I used as inspiration was Patricia's rolled paper frame. I LOVE the idea (and look) of rolled paper, so I replicated this on my layout. I rolled several small strips of paper and adhered them together with twine.
Thank you so very much for the inspiration and your beautiful style, Patricia. It was a joy to lift you!
Original layout by: Yeva Petrovnas
Lift designer:Tamara Jensen
Supplies:The Sweetest Thing-Bluebell: Lively patterned paper, Remember patterned paper, Bouquet
patterned paper, wood and chip buttons, stickers, journaling card,
title, chipboard stickers, decorative tape, brads; Miss Caroline-Fiddlesticks: stamps;Lime Twist: twine;Other: brown ink and pen, blue
machine thread, pop dots, yellow ink.
Tamara says:When I saw this beautiful and creative layout designed by Yeva ,
I knew this would be a fun one to lift. I especially liked the photo
booth strips of photos and collage of papers.
My dad just did a photo
shoot of my daughter a few weeks ago, so I already had a great
assortment of photos to use. I designed with the new “The Sweetest
Thing Bluebell” collection, it coordinated perfectly with these sweet photos. I
loved using all of the fabulous dimensional MME embellishments: the
chipboard stickers, wood buttons, decorative brads, journaling/title
cards, and decorative tape.
I did a very straightforward lift of Yeva's layout. I loved it so much I wanted my layout to look very similar!
I kept the layered papers and embellishments, but I stamped along the left side of the photos instead of misting,as Yeva did.
Yeva, thank you SO much for sharing your beautiful layout. It inspired me so very much!
So what do you think ? Are you inspired to create now? I know I am. Hope you find some time to make something beautiful this weekend!
And remember...if you do,make sure to share it with us.Thanks for stopping by...enjoy your weekend!
