Indie Chic Citron with Jana

Happy Monday to you! This is Jana and I am here to share a few Indie Chic projects with you. Today I'm using the Citron color scheme exclusively.

First is a 12x12 layout:

I love using the die cut titles to layer with other page elements. They make the perfect frames for titles and accents!

I also used the Citron color scheme to make this happy card. The design was inspired  by the saying on the chipboard accent.

I decided to handcut my own flower shapes from the 6 x 6 paper pad. The designs on these papers are the perfect scale for smaller designs! They look so fun and playful layered together with the Indie Chic "What a Day" Buttons.

I have one last Citron project to share today- a special gift box.

This would make the perfect box to hold some goodies for dad on Father's Day.

I wanted a square accent for the front of my box, so I gently pulled apart one of the layered stickers and reassembled it so that it was going the direction that would work better for my design.

In the process, I layered it together with patterned papers from the 6 x 6 paper pad to make it even more dimensional.

To add a bit of interest to the sides of the box, I used a star punch to cut "windows" in the patterned paper border strip.

To top it all off, I tied the box closed using a length of Follow Your Heart kraft twine and a chipboard element from the Indie Chic Citron collection.
