Today on the MME blog marks the debut of a fun monthly post we'll be doing...I Spy With My Mind's Eye.
We will be perusing online galleries and blogs for standout layouts, cards, and projects using our products.
If we select your project, we will contact you and ask permission to share what you've made, along with a description and a link to your blog.
So please...make sure to share your MME creations regularly!
This month we have four layouts to share with you!
Up first is this darling page by Jen Chapin.
Jen says:
This page was one of the rare times I scrapbooked photos the same day I took them -- we had such a fun day together as a family and I wanted to get those memories recorded while they were fresh.
I thought the design of this Follow Your Heart: Be Happy patterned paper was perfect to insert a few Instagram photos along with patterned papers and a title into the Polaroid-type spaces.
Jen, thank you so much for sharing! We think your page is just beautiful and we love the way it showcases our papers, buttons, and chipboard pieces!
Up next is a layout from Leah Cameron.
Here are a few words from Leah about this creative page:
When I saw this sketch from Crafty Sketches I knew the gorgeous Miss Caroline papers I had just received in my March My Scrapbook Nook kit would be perfect.
I printed out photos of my youngest daughter Alexa from every year on her birthday to “peg” on the banners. This layout was perfect to make use of little scraps, flags, banners and other embellishments. Although I wouldn’t call this my usual kind of layout, I just love the way it turned out.
We love the way it turned out too, Leah! Thank you so much for making our products shine!
And now we have an 8 1/2 by 11 scrapbook page by Ginny Hughes:
As much as I always love My Mind's Eye papers, the Follow Your Heart collection just blew me away! I love the Honey Blue paper, I cut out some of the hexagons and popped them up to give them some dimension.
The Soulful paper with the tiny hexagons is my new favorite staple. It is a great basic background with a little oomph to it!! I need like a million and one more pieces of that paper :).
Ginny- this is just stunning. Thank you so much for making our papers pop!
And last (but certainly not least) is a layout by Aleksandra Gadji.
Alex says:
If you look at the design of my layout it is pretty clean and simple, but I love to jazz things up with fun little details. I love wooden die cuts from the adorable Miss Caroline line.
Here I have altered the wooden butterfly with a rub-on and then used it to highlight my title. I also LOVE using the bottom strips from MME papers. They are perfect for adding that special little touch a layout needs!
Alex, we are blown away by the cheerful way you showcased our products. Thank you!
That's it for this month's I Spy With My Mind's Eye! Remember to share your projects with us. You can always link them on Facebook or in the comment section of these posts! As always, thanks for inspiring us with your boundless creativity!
