Display Your “Christmas Past”
Welcome to the first day of the My Mind's Eye "Holiday Hoopla". Tamara Jensen starts us off with a simple, classy way to display your favorite holiday layout from seasons past.
You don’t have to wait until December 26th to scrapbook Christmas photos! Why not dust off pictures from your “Christmas Past” and scrapbook a layout to use as holiday décor? I really enjoyed scrapbooking this older photo of my kids in their Christmas PJ’s – and setting it on my accent table for all to see. The gorgeous GLITTERED Lost and Found Christmas papers coordinate perfectly with my holiday decorations. My kids love looking at it every day as they walk by – it gets them excited about all of the Christmas fun that is just around the corner!
Supplies:
- 12” x 12” Lost and Found Christmas “Merry” Glittered Paper
- 7” x 9” Lost and Found Christmas “Boughs” Glittered Paper B side
- 5” x 12” Lost and Found Christmas “Tinsel” Glittered Paper B side
- 6 1/4” x 8 1/4” Lost and Found Christmas “Holly” Glittered Paper B side
- 1 1/4” x 12” Lost and Found Christmas “Noel” Glittered Paper B side
- 1/2” x 12” Lost and Found Christmas “Noel” Glittered Paper
- Lost and Found Christmas Accessory Sheet
- Lost and Found Christmas Glittered Adhesive Chipboard
- Lost and Found Christmas Decorative Brads
- 6” x 8” Photo (or 2 – 4” x 6” photos), Brown Ink, Brown Pen
- Adhere 1 1/4” x 12” cream sheet music paper about 1/2” from the bottom of the page. Layer the 1/2” x 12” striped paper above it. Adhere the brown 5” x 12” over the striped.
- Using a ruler, draw a line border around the 7” x 9” green dot paper, then adhere it along the right edge of the page, about 1” from the top. Mat the photo with the 6 1/4” x 8 1/4” cream text paper and pace in page.
- Tuck the “December” die cut accessory under the right edge of the photo. Place the “Remember these Moments” journaling spot on the page, then layer the “Merry Christmas” circle, “Be Jolly” chipboard circle, and green/cream paper circle with a brad on the left edge of the page.
- Insert the “Tis the Season to be Jolly” title with a brad into the page, the red “Noel” cardstock accessory die cut, then the “Be Merry” below it. Insert 2 green brads along the right edge of the brown paper. Place layout on a decorative easel and enjoy!
