Hi there!
My name is Shanna Vineyard and I am super-stoked to be guest designing with My Mind’s Eye this month! It’s also my birthday month so what a fun HAPPY BIRTHDAY gift to get a box of MME goodies to play and create with! My Mind’s Eye happens to be one of my MOST favorite manufacturers in the industry so when I tell you I am STOKED….. HA!
Okay….. I’m not very good at talking about myself but here goes….
I have a HUGE family. I am very blessed. I am married to an adorably loving hubby named Shane. We had both been married previously and had 5 girls between us when we joined forces a little over 4 years ago. We have since had two children of our own. So we have the whole “His, Mine, and Ours” thing going on. Here’s our kiddos’ names and ages…. Bailee 13, Macey 12 (in a few weeks), Kacie 11, Cassidy 9, Karlie 9, Brody 3, and our sweet little caboose Chloe who is 18 months. So yeah…. In case you weren’t counting…. 7 children. Boring is NOT a word used to describe our daily life here. Between Soccer, basketball, cheerleading, church activities and school functions….. one would wonder WHEN EXACTLY does a mom like me actually GET to scrapbook? To that I say…… BEDTIME is a religion here. HA HA!!! My husband has a little song or jingle he sings called, “best time of the ni-ght”. Our kids don’t really appreciate it much but when Shane starts singing the song about 8pm…. I can’t help but giggle. After they are all snug in their beds….. Momma gets to work! I do get some snuggle on the couch time with Shane some nights too. Our favorite shows are House, Supernatural, American Idol, and I love the Bachelor.
When I do get to create I enjoy doing work for the two Design Teams I am on. I also enjoy submitting my work to print publications and using my scrappy skills to help my girls’ with their school projects! I also love to cut wood on my scroll saw and combine my love of paper crafting with my love of wood crafting.
