With such fabulous brads to play with, our designers are never at a loss when coming up with extra fun things to do with brads.
Check out the great ideas that Suzanne and Trisha came up with!
Suzanne Sergi: Love Card
Featured Collection: Lost & Found
The Lost & Found Collection has beautiful papers to create vintage, and elegant cards for Valentine's Day. I decided to use brads, in combination with the Lush rhinestones to outline an image. Here the brads form another layer of a heart in the larger one. Brads are fantastic for anchoring elements onto your pages, and for centers of flowers. However, next time you are looking through your stash of brads, see what fun elements you can create! They will add interest, and lots of fun detail on your projects!
Trisha Ladouceur: Miss Mack
Featured Collection: Lush 2 - Orange and Turquoise
I LOVE the new LUSH 2 collection... so fun and vibrant and perfect for using on a snowy day such as today (we have had record snowfall this month in Edmonton,AB)... I was thrilled to break out something this bright! I used my Accu-Cut Grande Mark Machine to cut 2 large scalloped circles and then used my circle cutter to cut the center from one. I added a LUSH2 decorative brad to each scallop to give a bit of visual interest all the way around before popping it up over the full Scalloped Circle. I used the rhinestone brads to add detail to the ribbon borders too. I even incorporated a bit of the light blue from the original LUSH collection to add a "POP" of colour and break up all the orange(Flocked Chipboard Alphabet Stickers, Trims and Self Adhesive Rhinestones). The brads really are the perfect accessory for any scrapbook page.
