I wanted to do something whimsical and fun for these photos of my older son helping, hugging, and kissing my younger one. I cut out the clouds from the paper, coupled them with some die cut stars and used my dimensional glue to raise some while keeping others flat. I stayed true to the weight of the sketch by keeping the elements on the right. This layout is about my wonderful older son who is incredibly nice to his brother so I wanted to thank him for being the world's best big brother.
Love Life: Trisha Ladouceur
Featured Collection: Lost & Found
I am constantly reminded me of the many blessings I have in my life. I am so very thankful for not only family and friends but also for my job. Not many people can say that they truly LOVE their job, but I can! Being able to travel the globe while sharing my passion for scrapbooking while making fabulous friends every step of the way makes me a very happy girl! For these opportunities I will forever be thankful!
Big Brother: Amber Packer
Featured Collection: So Sophie
I have wanted to do this layout for a few months. In fact, ever since I saw a beautiful entry from one of our past blog challenges about an older son. So, I was talking with Karen about this layout and how it was our inspiration for this month’s blog challenge. Guess what!? It was Karen’s layout. So, not only do I want to thank my wonderful son, I want to thank Karen for inspiring me to do it.
We can’t wait to see your entry!
