Hooray! It's time to issue our next challenge!
Thanks to you, our challenges are one of our most favorite things we do each month.
Ads are everywhere.
You watch them on TV, read them in magazines even look at them while you are driving.
Whether we admit it or not, ads influence our lives. Ads are full of inspiration: layout, colors, font, journaling placement, even the "feelings" you get looking at it.
The Challenge:
Find an ad that inspires you and create a layout (or project) based on it.
When you turn your project in, please send us the ad your project was based on and let us know how you were inspired by it.
The rules: Use ANY My Mind’s Eye products (current or past). Your project must have at least 80% My Mind’s Eye products.
The Deadline: Email your project to [email protected] or add a link in a comment on this post by Thursday, October 22, 2009 (midnight, MDT).

The Fun Details: We will announce our winner on Monday, October 26, 2009. Our lucky winner will be featured in a blog post and receive one of everything from three collections of their choice!

From Beth - I was inspired by the overall design of the ad, but I replaced the two photos at the top with blocks of patterned paper and added three chipboard stars for a little pop of color and visual interest.
Designer: Tiffani Smith
Tiffani said "I was inspired by the clean lines and shapes. I used the placement of the woman to give me placement for the butterfly. It's a pretty straight forward copy of the placement of the elements."
