Every year its the same drill. Don't even think about getting in the car until mom takes your picture. That's the rule. Some of my children are happy willing participants, some give me the "oh mom" eye roll and then there is Drew. He is my comedian. He was willing to have his picture taken, but only on the condition that he could do his "cool dude" pose. (Whatever it takes little man, whatever it takes.) Secretly I like that he does this kind of thing, because someday he will grow up and find his true love. I am waiting for the day that I can show her all of his model face pictures. She will get a good laugh out of it. I just know it.
I love the Abbey Road lines and knew they would be perfect for this layout. Most of the products I used are from the Stomp collection but I threw in a piece from Whirlybird as well as one of my favorites from Round and Round. I <heart> the subtle stripe. It is perfect for large blocks of journaling.
Not only are the papers from Abbey Road great, so are the accessories. I used an assortment of die-cuts, chipboard, and brads to finish out the layout. I love how it turned out. One first day layout down, three more to go!
