Our first ever Blog Challenge is officially closed.

First, we need to say …. WOW!

We have a really talented bunch of blog readers. There were so many fabulous entries. You really did make this hard on us.

In fact, it was such a hard decision, that we have narrowed it down to the top 5 entries.  We have asked our crew at CHA to vote on their favorite layout and pick our winner. The winner will be announced Wednesday, July 29.

Thinking "Outside the Box"

How are your Blog Challenge Entries coming? The entries we have received so far are great! You are going to make this hard on us. We hope you are having fun playing with our Breaking Free line.

Here at My Mind’s Eye, we spend a lot of time “outside the box”. It’s where the best ideas are, you know. ;)

Due to the popularity of our "Breaking Free" collection, these specific pieces might be sold out in your local scrapbook store. 

A few of you have mentioned that you're having a hard time tracking down some of the items.  We would like as many people as possible to participate, so we're opening up this challenge to include ANY "Breaking Free" products.

Are you ready for the FIRST EVER My Mind’s Eye Blog Challenge?

It finally feels like summer is here. The days are warm, the sun is shining and we would love to “break free” and spend some lazy summer days cooling off in the water. Because of that, our first challenge focuses on our Breaking Free collection.

Anything goes!

Make a layout, card, home décor item, whatever you can imagine!

The only requirements are that you use our Breaking Free Collection and you MUST use each of these three products:

1.  Breaking Free Wild Ride “Only Smiles” (Boy) Hot Dots Paper #BF1740 (front or back)

2.  Breaking Free Sun Kissed “Only Smiles” (Girl) Title #BF1778

3.  Breaking Free Cowabunga “Summertime” (Boy) Frame #BF1800

Celebrating Liberty

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Independence Day is one of our favorite holidays.  It is more than picnics, parades and fireworks. We are thankful for our freedom, for the incredible sacrifice of our Founding Fathers and countless others who have fought to preserve our “unalienable rights”.

Ooh La La:

We say "ooh la la" when we see something that is so beautiful that there are no other words to describe it. It invokes thoughts of love and day dreams. How appropriate that is the name of this beautiful, dreamy line!

Without further adieu ...

Is it really time to be rolling out our holiday collections? Can you believe today is July 1^st? Where has the time gone? Before you know it, children will be trick-or-treating and we’ll be singing Christmas songs.

 

 

 

 

 

Boo to You:

Spiders, Webs, Moons, pumpkins, ghosts and mummies that are way too cute to be scary. You’ll love the brighter (and still aged) oranges, greens and black. This collection includes coordinating glittered chipboard shapes, ribbon and brads.
