Celebrating the 4th of July is a very special occasion in our household. We do not celebrate in a big way, just small traditions that are a lot of fun for the kids. One of our traditions is to send out a couple of 4th of July cards to the grandparents. Grandma decorates her table with all the past 4th of July cards we have sent her, so it's fun to see the cards she's collected from year to year. I created this year's card using the On the Sunny Side line because it has the softest blues and I love the red patterns.
Supplies:On the Sunny Side- 6 x 6 paper pad, brads; Misc: Papertrey Ink dies, star punch, thread, machine stitching
I cut the scallop strips using my Cuttlebug to create the wavy flag and couldn't wait to adorn my stars with those cute brads.
Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
