Happy Monday MME fans! This is Tamara and today I'm here to share a layout I made using one of today's biggest trends...chevrons!
Supplies:Indie Chic-Citron: Forest patterned paper,Sherbet patterned paper,6x6 pad,brads,journal card,label stickers,layered stickers,wood label;Indie Chic-Nutmeg:Southwest patterned paper
The fresh summery colors of the Indie Chic Citron collection were perfect for these photos of my son’s 6th birthday party at a splash park. I used two 12x12 papers for my background. The other five patterned papers I used were from the coordinating 6x6 pad. I love how the patterns are a little smaller and can have a more subtle effect on the page.
I love using chevrons on my layouts. You have to be careful, so that the patterns don’t compete with each other. But with a little planning, you can combine many on a page – I used five different chevron papers on this one layout!
Chevrons make the perfect banners because they already have the fish tale pattern in them. I used the 12x12 Grow Sherbet Chevron for the banner under the wood label. I used the same pattern from the 6x6 pad for the banner across the bottom right side of the page.
