The challenge: Design a layout or other project using BLACK based on this sketch (by Anam Stubbington). This is NOT a Halloween challenge. You can use any title, theme or My Mind’s Eye Collection you’d like as long as you use black.
The rules: Use ANY My Mind’s Eye products (current or past) as long as your project has at least 80% My Mind’s Eye products. Remember, you must adhere to this rule in order to be eligible to win.
The deadline: Email your project, first and last name to amber@mymindseye.com (with Blog Challenge 16 as your subject) or add a link in a comment on this post by Thursday, October 21, 2010 (midnight, MST).
(For tips on how to best photograph your entry, click here)
The PRIZE: One winner will be featured in a blog post and receive three ENTIRE collections of their choice! We will also award an honorable mention winner with one collection of their choice!
As always, EVERYONE is a winner! We love seeing what you create for our challenge and want to thank everyone who will participate. Every entry will go in a photo album here on the blog. By submitting, you are giving My Mind’s Eye permission to include your entry.
We hope you enjoy this month’s oh-so-fabulous samples:
Suzanne Sergi: Oct. 31
Featured Collection: Haunted
This was one of my favorites Halloween snapshots from last year. I love circles, and this sketch was brilliant. the circles created so much movement on this page, but kept the focus on my snapshot. My sweet daughter could not decide between a witch, or a fairy. So she opted to add wings to her costume! She is a pretty fairy witch!
Trisha Ladouceur: Giving Thanks
Featured Collection: Lost & Found – Union Square
A quick tip from Trisha: “Use your craft knife to cut around the paper designs... adding another layer of dimension.”
We are excited to see your entry!

YEA~ I love these challenges and this one is just right up my alley! I love my new MME Black papers.

Really, this challenge was amazing! I'm not using circles on my layouts that often, so this was the perfect chance to incorporate some on my layout. I used the gorgeous Lost & Found Union Square line to make this layout. Thanks for the great challenge and inspiration!
