Fay starts full time school today - Grade 1! She seems so tiny but yet so grown up at the same time. I am all about the details, especially the tiny ones. My layout today is about Fay's new indoor school shoes. They have laces!
This is a major milestone in a child's life - learning to tie laces - that just leaves riding her bike without training wheels and driving a car as her next major milestones! Yikes! I am very happy she picked All-Stars - one of my favourite brands.
I used the Abbey Road "Lucky Me" range because I loved the muted greens and blues - they just make the photo of the white & fuchsia shoes pop.
I am sure I'll cry when she goes off to a new teacher later this morning but I also know she is in good hands ... maybe now I will be able to finish a mug of coffee before it gets cold?
